Two distinguished players from the past, #63 Dennis Morita and #24 Billy Yabumoto participated by throwing the first pitches.  Ages of current players range from 17 to 58.

This year’s team celebrates its 100th season in Lodi.  According to Mike Furutani, who acted as spokesman and pitched the first few innings, although they feared this would be JACL’s final season, there exists renewed hope that the team will continue.
