Labor Day at Hutchins Street Square

The day started at dawn with sprinkles from dark, cloudy skies.  The decision was made to cancel the hot air balloon ride.  However, after an hour and several test balloons, the skies and high altitude winds calmed enough to give Julie Ball and her daughter, Jaime Worthen, the ride of their life.  By 10am the food court and carnival games were up and running.  “Labor Day Lodi” offered something for everyone, including live high-energy bands, K9 Unit demonstrations, Fire Department drills for the kids, works of art, delicious food, martial arts demonstrations and Arabian Belly Dancing.
