Keith Colgan, a local event photographer and website designer, recently received 1st place honors in the Visitors Bureau Photo Contest. He visited Nancy Beckman (President & CEO) this morning to view the winning entries and thank her for the recognition.
Several months ago the Bureau proposed the contest and invited local photographers to submit high quality images that showcased points of interest in Lodi. These photos will be used to promote Lodi as a tourist destination.
In addition to having the photos framed and mounted at the Visitors Bureau offices on School Street, several local businesses offered valuable prizes (Cheese Central, CRUSH Kitchen + Bar, Fields Family Wines, Lodi Cooks, McKinley’s Frame Shop, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Rosewood Bar and Grill, Wine & Roses).
Keith Colgan has lived in Lodi since 1983. He can be seen at local events, camera in hand, capturing the faces of people enjoying themselves. Recent awards and publications include: 1st Place winner of the KCRA Channel 13 Asparagus Festival Photo Contest, a “Herlife” Magazine photo spread, and the cover photo of the 2013 Lodi Parks & Recreation Activity Guide.
