TRCM is a remote control airplane flying club dedicated to all types of model aviation. We are located in Lodi, California and the club was founded in 1970. TRCM is a Charter member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA #1251) and our members operate under the guidelines, insurance, and safety procedures of the national organization. The membership is comprised mainly of San Joaquin county residents and consist of a wide age range.
The club’s goal is to enjoy and to promote the hobby of Remote Control Modeling; members fly a wide range of RC aircraft ranging from small electric park flyers to giant scale war birds, helicopters, and aerobatic and sport planes. We put on many events throughout the year, from Fun Flys to Pylon Racing. We have RC instructors willing to teach you how to fly your RC aircraft, and members who can answer all your RC questions. Our members reach out to the community helping the Scouting organizations earn their aeronautics merit badges, hosting school children and giving young people an alternative to video games.
We hold our monthly club meeting the first Wednesday of each month at the Lodi Public Library. Please visit the TRCM club website for more information: TRCM-Lodi.org. Visitors are always welcome at our flying field and to our club meetings. Stop by and introduce yourself!
