The Sandhill Crane Festival brought visitors from near and far to enjoy the wildlife tours, fine art, music, displays, prize drawings, food, lectures, and instruction for all ages. The Friday evening open house offered opportunities to meet the artists and representatives from various wildlife/conservation organizations. Saturday and Sunday featured non-stop activities that entertained and educated all in attendance. Among the many who made the event possible were an army of local volunteers, many of which were caught on camera against their will.
